UPSIDE DOWN SUET FEEDER design allows only birds that can cling and eat upside down like Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Chickadees, Bushtits, Warblers and Finches and keep away unwanted birds such as Starlings or Grackles. Hand made from rough sawn hardwood with a copper-clad roof and stainless steel wire rope hanger. This feeder will hold three standard size suet cakes or two thick suet cakes. We cut our own hardwood from tree being taken down for new road construction and will last many years longer than the ones made of softer woods. Our copper-clad roof will keep the suet dry and the rough sawn hardwood from rotting and last a lifetime. Our wire rope hanger is not plastic coated steel wire rope that will rust and brake in just a few short year like others, ours is made from marine grade stainless steel wire rope rated for 300 Lbs. and also lasting a lifetime. The feeder comes raw rough sawn hardwood and in the outdoors and in time will weather to a sliver barn-wood appearance and the copper-clad roof will turn dark and in time will weather to a turquoise patina lasting many decades.
